The Horses of Tir Na Nog
A New Door Opens
By Bob Boze
A Life Changing Love Story
An incredible love story about the bonds of trust, passion and friendship that will forever change the lives of a fireman, the manager of a horse rescue ranch and everyone around them. A story of compassion, unending love, forever friendship and the joy of seeing life and the world through the eyes of others.
CJ’s early years were an absolute train wreck. At 19, her short life had nearly ended. Dumped in a field like a piece of garbage, she had been stripped naked, raped, beaten and left for dead………By 20 though, she had taken her life back and started to turn things around. She had spent a year in rehab and, while there, earned her high school degree and finished a year of junior college.
Now, five years later, she is the manager of the Horses of Tir Na Nog Horse Rescue Ranch, surrounded by the most magnificent creatures in the world. For the first time in her life, she has found warmth and friendship and is completely in love with life.
But will it last? Is her life about to derail again?
Sitting in the shed, the storm pounding around her, she leaned her head against his as he took his last breath.
Will her new found life go with him? Will this plunge her back into the darkness that had been her life for so many years? Or, had he just opened a new door for her to walk through?

Bob was born in Queens NY and raised in Bethpage, Long Island NY. He holds a BS Degree in Systems Engineering and Program Management from Northrop University and has studied English Lit, English and Writing at NYU, William and Mary, the Univ. of Maryland and the Univ. of Delaware.
Bob and his wife Sheryl currently live in Bonita, California, just outside San Diego. They moved there in 1988 and love that Bonita is a small town, horse country, yet only 15 minutes from downtown. They absolutely love San Diego with it’s wonderful weather, wide variety of outstanding restaurants, theaters, parks, theme parks and weekly events. As Bob likes to say: “If you’re bored in San Diego, it’s because you’re dead. There is always something going on.”
They have been volunteering at the zoo for over 20 years, take in plays, theater and shows every chance they get and eat out as often as possible. They also love just wasting an entire day people watching or hanging with friends at 57 Degrees Wine Bar, C Level, Albert’s at the zoo or anyplace else with good food, an outdoor patio and a view.
Both Bob and Sheryl are products of the aerospace industry and while working with the airlines, he managed to drag her pretty much all over the world. “She’s just so hard to travel with! All my customers (and everyone else) LOVE her and we have 1,000 stories from our travels. There are also another 1,000 stories from when we owned a restaurant in Central CA. But those are subjects for my next book.”
The final things you should know are: “We are still madly in love with each other. I am a Pisces. And, my first name is Robert. All of which means (according to Sheryl) that I am the worlds biggest ‘Mush Muffin’. Hopefully, that means I write really good love stories!”
