Accidently Married is a romantic comedy and is the first book in a four-book series.
I found Accidently Married to be a cute, fun, easy read that had me laughing out loud on almost every page. I enjoyed it so much that I just finished book 3 and have started book 4.
The story is quite simple and centers around Madison, who thinks she’s applying for a job and ends up being a “fake girlfriend” for Jared; to take home for a weekend to get his family off his back. As you can guess, things rapidly get out of hand as his sick aunt insists they get married before she passes away.
A quick call to an actor friend to play the part of a minister and a phony wedding follow but, things run amuck when the family finds out and our couple finds themselves actually married.
Accidently Married is loaded with a ton of cute one-liners that will have you sliding off your chair laughing. It’s been called a “beach read” by other reviewers and that’s probably where you’ll want to read it; far from others! Certainly, not in the doctor’s office or on a flight!
While the story line is very predictable, it is different enough to hold your attention and has some twists and turns you’ll not see coming and definitely giggle at. It also has characters you’ll love and can’t help yourself rooting for: Or, booing, in the case of the evil family members.
A funny, enjoyable, quick read that will definitely put you in a good mood. Highly recommended.
